- 5Per line: description, quantity, unit price and total including VAT
- 6Total VAT and total including VAT
- 7A QR code (mandatory on simplified invoices)

- Is the QR code mandatory on a simplified invoice?
- Yes. Since Phase 1, simplified invoices must carry a QR code with five fields: seller name, VAT number, time, total and VAT.
- Do I show prices inclusive or exclusive of VAT?
- Simplified invoices usually show VAT-inclusive prices with the VAT amount stated; Fatooraty supports both.
- What if the client wants their name on it?
- A buyer name can be added optionally; if the buyer is a VAT-registered business, a standard invoice is the right document.
Fatooraty is an independent tool, not affiliated with ZATCA (the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority). The generated QR follows Phase-1 requirements only and is not a substitute for Phase-2 integration.
