Questions

Is a quotation a tax invoice?
No. A quotation is a commercial document that creates no tax obligation; the invoice is issued when the sale is made.
Does a quotation need a QR code?
No. The QR code is a tax invoice requirement and appears when the quotation is converted.
How do I turn a quotation into an invoice?
In Fatooraty, once the client accepts, press “Convert to invoice”: the lines and buyer are copied and the invoice gets its own sequential number.

Fatooraty is an independent tool, not affiliated with ZATCA (the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority). The generated QR follows Phase-1 requirements only and is not a substitute for Phase-2 integration.
